Bear With Me Folks!

Hey fans! I’ve been working on a new series for my blog that’s based on reviews of books and stuff. I’ll release the first one just as soon as I finish it. The others will follow suit as soon as I finish reading the books I have in mind for this summer series.

I read the Twilight Series over. I’ll be doing some analyzing of those. That, and the Harry Potter Books (seeing as the first part of the last movie’ll be out in a few short months {get excited!}). If there’s any other good books that you want me to try to review, please let me know. I have several ideas, but I’d like to hear what YOU want to read about!

In the meantime, please feel free to re-read my previous blog entries while you bear with me. Thanks for stopping by!

Quotes from friends.

Hey all. I’m just stopping by on my long list of things to do (mostly because I was taking a break from application dropping!) to show you a quote I found that fit my mood this week. I have my friend Jocelin on Facebook to thank for this one. And, here’s the quote…

“We could all take lesson from crayons: Some are sharp some are beautiful some have weird names, and all are different colors but they still learn to live in the same box. I am the author of my life. Unfortunately I’m writing in pen and I can’t erase my mistakes.”

Interpret this, if you will… and then you have my current mood…

Empty’s Biggest Weekend EVAAAA!!!!!

Hey All.
For those that know Emptyeye and I on a personal level know that he’s been talking about ConnectiConn most of the time for the past 2 months. He actually just finished writing a post based on his experiences there this year. And Here it is!!!!

I’ll be back next week to let you know what I’ve been up to. Been working on a bunch of reviews for books, etc, that I’ve been reading. You’ll know when they’re up!

Oh, one more thing. This week I’m down to 230.2 from 245.4. You do the math! I’m pretty excited.

World Cup 2010 Finito

OMG. The 2010 World Cup is officially over. Now what’ll I do with my extra time until soccer season starts? . . .
I’m sure I’ll find something!

1st Place= Spain
2nd Place= Netherlands
3rd Place= Germany

There you go. That’s how the final standings went. Let’s wish the men better luck the next time around!

Ok, I did some research. The next World Cup will be in Brazil in 2014. But since you and I will be starved for Professional Football (AKA in the US as Soccer) before then, there’s the Women’s World Cup in 2011 in Germany. I’ll be watching the women with interest, you can be sure!

“Finals” and 3rd Place Games

Hey all. Wow! It’s time again to put in favorites for the Finals of the World Cup game. That and the game that determines who comes in third place in this great tournament. I’ll be updating this, as the games are played out tomorrow and Wednesday.

The 3rd Place Game: 2:30 on Saturday the 10th
Uruguay VS Germany

The “Finals” Game: 2:30 on Sunday the 11th
Netherlands VS Spain

There you go! With the results of that, will be how the World Cup 2010 will end.

Semi-Finals!

Hey folks. We’re coming up on the Semi-finals!!! If you haven’t heard the World Cup favorites, Brazil, has been taken down! By the Dutch! Gotta love that! I have to admit, I kinda called that. “If there ever was a team that would take down the Brazilians, it would be the Dutch! (Netherlands)”

Ok, here are the set-ups for how the Semi-finals will go. I know I’m a bit early, but I’ll keep updating as the games happen!

7/6 at 2:30:
Netherlands VS Uruguay

7/7 at 2:30:
Germany VS Spain

I honestly don’t know who I want to win the rest of the games. I think Germany might, Spain might. Mostly hope Spain plays cleanly. Those red and yellow cards’ll be their undoing! Look at what happened to Brazil this morning! Honestly want Uruguay to kick Ghana’s ass, but they’re pretty evenly matched.

Ech, we’ll see.
