Go Tim, Go!

I don’t know if you knew this, but my brother is taking part in Ironman Coeur d’Alene. He’s doing pretty good. So, here’s how you can help him out: http://pages.teamintraining.org/los/cdairon13/thoff.

He has raised: $4,581.16. His goal is: $5,950.00. This means he’s raised 77% of his goal. The race is very shortly, so you don’t have much time to help him out. He’s raising money as part of Team In Training for Blood Cancers.

So, Tim, here’s sis doing her part to spread the word. Good Luck to you. Kick some Ironman Tail!!!

Rizing Up Against Violence, In Any Form!

Hey again all! This weekend, there is another Rize Up Gaming Marathon going on. This time, we are raising money for the Red Cross and for Boston Relief. Come by and donate, if you can. Emptyeye may have already played, but there are plenty of Streaming Shenanigans going on over the next few days. http://www.twitch.tv/rizeupgaming/

Shame On You, Chickadee!!!

So, it’s come to my attention that people out there aren’t as honest as they can be when putting together “Charity Marathons.” I never wanted to believe it, as I tend to want to believe the best in everyone. But, you know, it’s hard to ignore when you have the proof. Like this person. I don’t know her, but I wouldn’t want anyone doing anything illegal in any group I’m part of. This is why I wanted to make a mention. So, just be careful who you donate to. Make sure that whomever you donate to has a “Donate directly to . . .” on their website. Here’s the article I’m talking about:

Cute Headline, but a topic that needs to be addressed. Be careful, ya’all. The RizeUP Gaming people know what’s up… 🙂
