Happy New Year!!!!

Happy New Year Everyone!!! I know I’ve been missing a lot recently. Especially in the  latter part of 2017. I’m trying to change that, I promise. Since it is early days of 2018, I though I’d share my goals for this year and give you a breakdown for how I’m going to try to accomplish my goals.

So, this year, I want to try to find the Silver Lining in everything that comes up throughout the year. To find my Happiness, if you will…  This past year, I was noticing I was wasting valuable energy on the bad stuff that came up throughout the year. I don’t know if I’ve ever mentioned this before, but I tend to suffer from Seasonal Depression. The negative thinking lead me to be very irritable  and even more anti-social throughout the latter half of the year, and not just the start of the Fall season as is per my usual. SO, I’m going to try to fix this this year. Wish me luck!!!!

The second goal, you might ask? Finishing. This means weaving in my ends and adding buttons as I finish things. However, it also means finishing more of my WIPs (Works in Progress). At last count, I’m up to 35 Knitting WIPs, 6 Cross Stitch WIPs, 2 latch-hook rugs In Progress, and at least 2 Scrapbooks mid-project. This also includes the GAZILLION other projects I’ve started over the years and haven’t finished.

To this end, I have started a KAL that I’m calling Knit To Zero (#SDLK2Z or #K2Zero).

This will include ANY crafty thing that you have lingering. Anything you finish will count, even if it’s not a Ravelry-specified project.

Wish me luck!!! 😉
