Hello Beautiful Readers! Welcome back to my WIP Madness Corner! The last project I’m going to talk about this week, is what I called All Squared Up.
I cast on this blanket on 11/24 of 2019. This blanket is a bunch of 5 round Granny squares that I’m currently in the process of joining together using the Join As You Go Method. I’ve been using an I (eye) 5.5mm crochet hook. I’ve also been using a few scraps of yarn for most of the squares. Specifically Caron Simply Soft Stripes “Grape Purple” and “Rosewood,” Bernat Baby Sport “Baby Ombre,” Lion Brand Pound of Love “Creamsicle” and “Bluebell.” For the border, I’m using Red Heart Comfort Sport in the “Amethyst” colorway. As the blanket is so large,
This project was housed in my Holiday Music Bag from Stitching The High Notes when I was working on the squares. It’s currently sitting in a box on the floor by my couch. The Stitching The High Notes shop can be found here.
I’ve been collecting pictures as I go, as I totally expected this project to take a bit, so… Here are the pictures I have of the squares.
And honestly, I only have 1 row connected completely right now, so not much to show… I hope to finish this once the weather gets cooler. It’s ALOT of acrylic wool in my lap. Too much for the heat… Hopefully, I can get this re-started soon. Wish me luck… lol.
Until Next Time, Happy Crafting!
