The Blustery Day

Hello Beautiful Readers! Welcome back to my WIP Madness Corner! The next project I’m going to talk about is what I called The Blustery Day.

The pattern I am using for this  “Windswept” Cardigan by TinCanKnits. I’ve been using West Yorkshire Spinners in the Illustrious base (which is 70% wool, 30% Alpaca) and size US 6, 4.0mm Knitter’s Pride Smart Sticks 32 inch cables.

This project is being housed in my Blue Flower bag by The Fat Squirrel. Her shop can be found here.

I cast on this project on 11/1 of 2019, as the start of NANESWEMO (National Knit A Sweater In A Month) Knit along. Obviously, I never finished it. I’m honestly on Sleeve island with this project. Honestly, the yarn wasn’t too cooperative with the needles I was using, so I just put it down in defeat. As it was NANESWEMO that I was trying to participate in, I happen to have daily pictures of the sweater’s progress. I’ll include them below.

I think I’m going to try to make it my goal to put the sleeves on before it gets cool enough to work on it. Maybe during NANESWEMO this year? We’ll see…

Until Next Time, Happy Crafting!
