Barrow’s Greatest Discovery

Hello Beautiful Readers! Welcome back to my WIP Madness Corner! The next WIP I want to talk about, is what I called “Barrow’s Greatest Discovery.” I started this project on 6/20 of this year.

This project is being housed in my Jack Skellington Bag by MollyKleinDesign. Her etsy shop can be found here.

I used the “Toe-Up Socks With A Difference” pattern by Wendy D. Johnson, as this pair of socks is for someone else, so I want to make sure that they fit the intended recipient. I’m using Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Socks in the “Christmas At Downton” colorway. I normally use US 1, 2.25mm 9 inch circs for a majority of the sock. Then I switch to 2 16 inch circulars for the toes, heel, and cuff.

I’m just past the first sock’s heel.

Update 9/7:

I have finished the first sock and gotten to midway through the second foot.  Here’s what they look for now.

Update 12/21:

I really Do love the way these knit up! I used 292.4 yards and finished them on 9/30. What do you think?

Until Next Time, Happy Crafting!

Falling for #59

Hello again everyone! Sorry it’s been so long since the last time I came back to continue the FO Parade. I really have been busy, I promise…

Either way, FO #59 is what I called “Joyful Falling.”

I used Joji Locatelli’s “Pure Joy” pattern. I also used GnomeAcres House Gnome in the “Bad Bunny” and The Loopy Ewe Solid Series in the color “Peach.” I really love the way that the colors play together. What do you think?

Until Next Time! Happy Crafting!
