An Empty Fire

Hiya Beautiful Makers! The next thing I finished this year is what I called “An Empty Fire.” I realized earlier this year that Emptyeye needs more hand-knit socks, so I thought to make him 4 pairs for the Holidays…

I used the “Toe-Up Socks With A Difference” pattern by Wendy D. Johnson. I used 321 yards of Trekking XXL in the “473” colorway. It honestly looks like fire. I used size US 1, 2.25mm 9 inch circ needles.

While this project was in the needles, it was hosted in my Orange Haunted Mansion bag by The Knitted Broomstick. Jilly’s shop is currently on a hiatus, but it can be found here.

I love the sock’s color. What do you think?

#73’s Keen

Hey everyone! So sorry it’s been almost 3 months since I came by and updated my blog. Suffice to say, it’s been a busy few months. I’m going to kick off the last few FO’s of 2019 with my “December 2019 DVD Socks.”

I used the “You’re A Mean One” colorway from Desert Vista Dyeworks (DVD). I used the “Vanilla Is The New Black” pattern by Anneh Fletcher. I REALLY love the way this pattern and yarn go together. What do you think?

Until Next Time, Happy Crafting!
