Sweet #43

Hello again everyone! Hope you’re having a great day! I just wanted to stop by and let you know about FO #43 for 2018. As you all know, I’m participating in DVD (Desert Vista Dyeworks)’s Fourth Annual Sock Club. I finished my socks for September, and I’m in LOVE with the stripe sequence of the “ZomBody’s Eating Candy Corn” on their Viso base!  I’ve already worn these socks ALOT!

What do you think?

42 IS The Answer to Everything.

Hello again everyone! A quick “Hiya” to all my fellow “Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy” fans, who got the reference right away! You are all awesome!

Anyway, FO 42 for 2018 was a project I called “Crafty Infinitas.” I used the “To Infinity And Beyond” cowl pattern by Joji Locatelli.  I used Blue Moon Fiber Arts, Socks That Rock, Lightweight “Don’t Rain On My Craft Parade!” colorway.

I LOVE how these two came together. I just hope that I can get the lace to block out a bit looser.  We’ll see…  What do you all think?

Until Next Time, Happy Crafting!

41 In Triplicate!

Hello everyone! FO #41 was a series of 3 KitKat Hats by AndreSue for 3 wonderful Recipients for the Holidays. Again, I’ll have to remember to come back and let you know how it goes….

For each hat, I used US 6 – 4.0 mm Marblz needles. Two hats, I used Cascade 220 Superwash Aran “Pink Ice” and the third, I used Cascade 220 Superwash “Strawberry Cream.”
I think that my Recipients will LOVE these hats! What do you think of the colors?

#40’s On Top…

Hello again everyone! FO #40 was another Holiday gift. I’ll try to remember to come back and let you know how the Recipient received it.

I used the “Lantern Lights” pattern by Joji Locatelli.  I used US 4 – 3.5 mm, and US 6 – 4.0 mm needles and used 188 yards of The Fiber Seed, Sprout DK “Strawberry Sundae”

I REALLY love the combo of the pattern and the needles. What do you think?

Until Next Time, Happy Crafting!

#39 and Proud!

Hello everyone! FO #39 for this year was my last iteration of my “Proud To Be Me!” shawl.

I used US 6 – 4.0 mm needles and a total of 747 yards between two colors.
1) GnomeAcres, Fancy Gnome “Dean Winchester” 435.0 yards
2) GnomeAcres House Gnome “Sam Winchester” 312.8 yards

I LOVE how these colors play together. What do you think?

Until Next Time, Happy Crafting!

#38, Mate!

Hello again! FO #38 was another Holiday gift for Emptyeye.

This was also part of the year-long KAL that I’m participating in for Desert Vista Dyeworks (DVD). The Colorway for August was “Mr. Darcy” on her Viso base! This is one that Emptyeye picked out when I was winding up colors for 2018’s Sock Club KAL.

I used the “OMG Heel Socks” by Megan Williams to try out a new heel on US 1 – 2.25 mm needles.

I LOVE how this came out! What do you think?

Until Next Time, Happy Crafting!

#37 Is Heaven

Hello again! I’m back with another FO for 2018! This one was for another recipient for the Holidays. I called the project “Math Being a *Beep*? Not While You’re Sparkle Rich!” A bit of explanation? Sure. The Recipient I’m intending this to go to was having a hard time with one of her math classes, and I offered to make her a pair of socks, as one does…

I used US 1 – 2.25 mm needles and 218.5 yards of Opal, Funny “9332 Heiter.”

Again, both the recipient and I LOVE purple and sparkles, so it was perfect that I had 2 skeins that were exactly the same. Matchy matchy socks! 🙂

What do you all think?

Until Next Time, Happy Crafting!
